What does the bible say about time?

Plenty... more than I know or could possibly share on this page.  But here are a few verses that have tickled my imagination and drawn me into studying more of God's Word.  God is SO BIG and the ways He works in and through His children are unfathomable.  But there is such joy when we participate with the One who created us for His purposes.  I believe the significance of our obedience will only be truly realized on the other side of eternity.

I encourage you, as you study God's Word, to look for the eternal elements of His nature that are revealed and then... wonder...

Here are some of my favorite Bible verses that mention the element of time.
Revelation 1:8 "I am the Alpha and the Omega," says the Lord God, "who is, and who was, and who is to come, the Almighty."
Isaiah 44:6 "This is what the Lord says— Israel's King and Redeemer, the Lord Almighty: I am the first and I am the last; apart from me there is no God"

Genesis 1:1 "In the beginning God created the heavens and the earth."

John 1:1-3
"In the beginning was the Word, and the Word was with God, and the Word was God. He was with God in the beginning. Through him all things were made; without him nothing was made that has been made"

Isaiah 45:11-12 ""This is what the Lord says— the Holy One of Israel, and its Maker: Concerning things to come, do you question me about my children, or give me orders about the work of my hands? It is I who made the earth and created mankind upon it. My own hands stretched out the heavens; I marshaled their starry hosts."
2 Peter 3:8-9 "But do not forget this one thing, dear friends: With the Lord a day is like a thousand years, and a thousand years are like a day.The Lord is not slow in keeping his promise, as some understand slowness. He is patient with you, not wanting anyone to perish, but everyone to come to repentance."

Isaiah 45:21
"Declare what is to be, present it— let them take counsel together. Who foretold this long ago, who declared it from the distant past? Was it not I, the Lord? And there is no God apart from me, a righteous God and a Savior; there is none but me. "

Ephesians 5: 15- 16 "Be very careful, then, how you live—not as unwise but as wise, making the most of every opportunity, because the days are evil."
